Musicians Visit Petersfield Hospital
The TPS String Group and Choir visited Cedar Ward at the Petersfield Community Hospital on Monday afternoon to perform to the patients.
The students really enjoyed the opportunity of performing the pieces they have been working on, and it really helped brighten up the afternoon on the ward and lift patients' spirits.
Julie-Ann James, Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator at Petersfield Hospital, said afterwards:
"Please pass on my thanks to all the students and your teachers who took part in the concert today. The patients , staff and visitors thoroughly enjoyed it, the patients who were on bed rest also remarked on what a lovely hour it had been and the sound had carried well through the ward. Thank you so much for organising it, the difference it makes to our patients day is huge, it gives them a welcome break away from all the mundane medical procedures that they undertake and something they can share with their family and friends."
