A Principal's Commendation for Charlie

Year 11 student, Charlie Oakwell-Boulton, was praised by George Newton, the Hampshire Schools FA U16 manager, for his exemplary behaviour and attitude on a football trip to Madrid this summer.

The team played four matches against strong opposition from Madrid, winning 3 out of the 4 games, including one against an U18 team!

Mr Newton commented, “I was proud of the way the boys conducted themselves; they were a credit to their parents and schools and were very mature in their approach to a variety of situations they experienced on the trip.”

Charlie added, “I really enjoyed it.  It was a great experience to play a different type of football, and we also got to visit Segovia and Real Madrid to watch the Spanish national side train!”

Charlie was also presented with a Principal’s Commendation from Mr Marande for representing TPS so well.
