CVQO Students Bring Festive Cheer To Petersfield Hospital
Our CVQO students were invited to the Petersfield Hospital yesterday to put up Christmas decorations on Cedar Ward.
The students helped with the tree, festooned the room with lots of tinsel, and put up some of their own festive artwork. Ebony Ball created a hand- sewn ‘Merry Christmas’ wall hanging which is now proudly displayed in the Day Room of the ward. The students were also able to show patients some games on iPads, which were so successful that a few of the patients joked they would like one for Christmas!
The group then went to work in the newly created hospital garden, at the back of the hospital, planting daffodil bulbs. Julie-Ann James, who works on the ward with Age Concern, said, “The TPS students were delightful and have made the room look very festive as well as cheering up the patients.”
