A Head For Heights
Year 7 student Ella Beaton’s grandfather suffers with Parkinson’s Disease, and she wanted to do something to raise funds for the Parkinson’s Foundation.
So the brave 12 year-old decided to abseil down the side of Guildford Cathedral!
Ella has already raised £175 through her JustGiving page, and has also received £80 from the Rainbow Centre in Waterlooville where her grandfather attends.
She said, “I was really scared as it looked such a long way down, but I was also very excited! Once I had done it, I really wanted to go back and do it all over again!”
