Infants Sports Coaching

Students in years 8, 9 and 10 on the Sports Leaders course at The Petersfield School have been coaching pupils in Years Reception, 1 and 2 from Petersfield Infant School this week. Led by PE teacher, Natasha Bullock, the Sports Leaders paired up and set up skills stations to teach a group of pupils for 10 minutes, before the pupils moved on to the next station.

The Sports Leaders spend one lunchtime a week working on leadership skills, and this was the first time that they had coached on their own.

Head of PE Alastair Clewley said, "They did a fantastic job - all went smoothly and the young players were clearly enjoying themselves. Well done!”
