Catapult Challenge for Key Stage 3 Students
Students who attended the Key Stage 3 Ignite Science and D&T session on Friday rose to the challenge of building a catapult.
They were given Ignite tokens to “pay” for building materials, and to “pay” for hint cards, care packages and trial attempts.
Once the catapults were built, each team had three attempts to knock down as many cans as they could. The winning team (Year 7s Rosie Brotherton, Sophie Rogers and Luna Richardson) scored 13 cans!
