A National Award for Rock Challenge
The 2018 Rock Challenge team were thrilled to learn that they have won a national award for their performance "Stockholm Syndrome".
Across the UK, schools who did not make the 2018 Finals were put forward for various Rock Challenge national awards, and TPS won the national Award of Excellence in Choreography.
Mr Marande presented the certificate to Head of Dance, Lucy Reah, Dance teachers Amanda Jones and Rebecca Vaudrey, and three student representatives - Gabby Reilly (Year 11), Lilly Barnes (Year 9) and Charlie Lawrence (Year 8).
Gabby said, “Rock Challenge is always a great experience. This year will be my last performance as I’m now in Year 11 and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Lilly added, “I’m thrilled we won this award - choreography is everything!”
Charlie said, “It was amazing being part of the Rock Challenge team!”
Lucy Reah concluded, "We are very proud of the team and are looking forward to seeing current and new students at tomorrow's auditions for Rock Challenge 2019 in the Studio from 2.20-5.00pm."
