La Dolce Vita for Visual Arts Students!
There was a Visual Arts and Photography trip to Italy during the Easter holiday. Students flew into Pisa and enjoyed lunch in the sun around the Leaning Tower.
In Florence they saw Michelangelo's David then got to think like Da Vinci in the Da Vinci Museum and tried to recreate some of his inventions. This was followed by lunch and gelato on the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. The day ended with a visit to the Ufizzi Gallery, where they saw some of the most famous artworks in the world!
In Tuscany the students visited Chianti Sculpture Park, followed by an afternoon of drawing and painting in a local vineyard. The sun came out for an early evening visit to Siena, with yet another trip to the gelato store!
