STEM Challenge with the Royal Navy
This week, all Year 8 students have had the opportunity to work with representatives from the Royal Navy on a STEM challenge, and also found out about the range of careers available in the Royal Navy and how to apply for them.
TPS Careers Coordinator, Karen Heath said, “The students have had great fun using their newly acquired engineering skills to create their own moveable objects. I have seen scooters, bicycles, cranes, go-karts, ladders, anchors and more! I would like to thank Graham McCall and Abigail Washington for their infectious enthusiasm and humour throughout the three days here!”
