Animal Care Students Visit Stubbington Ark

The Year 10 Animal Care students were invited to have a look round The Stubbington Ark recently and make their own animal health checks.

The students were able to see first-hand the animals that had either been given to the Ark as their owners could no longer look after them or had been found as strays.  The students had a briefing from an Ark member of staff and had a tour of the premises which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and even a pig!

Molly Goodchild-Swan said they do amazing work with the animals and it has inspired her to carry on working with animals when she leaves school.
