Guest Speakers for Health & Social Care Students
We were lucky enough to welcome two midwives to the Health & Social Care department yesterday as guest speakers to talk to Year 9 and 10 students about their careers in midwifery.
Sue Rutter has been a midwife for 20 years and was able to share her valuable experience with the students. Chloe Toth is a former TPS student who has just completed her first year in training as a midwife.
Both ladies offered an insight into their role and information about career paths into midwifery. They also shared the qualities needed for such a responsible role. The students were able to ask lots of questions and Chloe provided information booklets to help the students who are interested in working in health care
