TPS Radio Club

Students from Radio Club have been hard at work on their latest podcast about the recent GREAT Wellbeing Week at school.  Ollie Mosley, George Hill, Zak Baker, Evie Jull, Emily Waite, Hannah Albury, Megan Powell and Pippa Sands spent time brainstorming ideas and then divided into teams with specific tasks – interviewing Head Girl Jess Minton, who had initiated the GREAT project (Megan, Pippa and Hannah); speaking to teachers (Emily and Evie), and interviewing a student (Zak) about Exercise (George and Ollie).

The team collaborated on the final content with Ollie as main editor and managed to meet the deadline for submitting to Petersfield Community Radio.

Congratulations to all the students for their dedication and hard work.  And Petersfield Community Radio were so pleased with them, they have asked them to submit a second podcast about our Greenpower team in the new year!

Off the back of this, Jess was a guest speaker last Wednesday on the P-Pod, talking to Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey about GREAT Week, the inspiration for it and its beneficial effects.

Jess said, “I had to wear headphones, think on my feet and try to be as articulate as possible! I really enjoyed it as I loved the public speaking aspect of it. Luckily it was a recorded interview, not live!”
