Jazzi Exhibits at Mall Galleries London
In December, Year 8 student Jasmine Echo exhibited a piece of artwork at a prestigious exhibition at the Mall Galleries London – Art for Youth London - which raises funds to offer at-risk young people many opportunities around the UK.
It was Jazzi’s fourth year exhibiting, where her artwork had already raised £1500. Being environmentally conscious, Jazzi sourced discarded wood, reclaimed it and turned it into an original 3D painting.
The art being displayed was mostly by adults, and Jazzi was one of only 5 students exhibiting.
She said, “There were lots of visitors to the exhibition, and I hope that the artwork featured generated a lot of money for the charity. I didn’t sell this year, although I have sold 3 pieces in previous years.”
