Energy Quest STEM Workshops
On Monday and Tuesday, 120 Year 7 and 8 students took part in STEM workshops to spark interest in creating sustainable cities and exploring engineering careers. The students were challenged with hands-on activities and motivated to come up with innovative energy solutions.
Organiser, Joanna Miles, said, “Thank you to all students involved in this exciting opportunity and for being so enthusiastic to continue developing your solutions to create sustainable cities by 2050. From this event, TPS hopes to have many students inspired to develop their energy solutions and enter The Bright Ideas Challenge. Finalists will have the opportunity to build a prototype of their design with engineers. We are very excited to see how big and extraordinary these ideas become leading up to the competition - watch this space!”
