Student News From Outdoors

Year 7 Edward Newland has joined the #walk1000miles challenge for 2021 and has already managed to raise over £1000 for Young Minds UK.  He has now reached 210 miles in his trek to 1000 miles and was one of the top fundraisers on Just Giving last month too!

He has received a lot of encouragement and support  from the Young Minds charity  in both tweets and emails of thanks and "job well done".

SDL Plc (a language translation software company) has already agreed they will match any fundraising he has done for this cause.  Ed chose to do this fundraising for charity as other volunteer positions are not available due to the pandemic.
