Felix C started Gymnastics at the age of 6 and made outstanding progress whilst a student at TPS.
Felix was re-selected for the England Gymnastics squad in both 2021 and 2022, winning Gold, Silver and Bronze in various Vault, Floor, Pommel and Parallel Bars events at British and Northern European Championships. In the Men’s London Open he won Gold for the Vault (the highest U18 score in any apparatus this year), and Silver for the Floor.
Felix completed A-Level Geography, Economics ,Psychology and an EPQ whilst juggling his gymnastics commitments, and he has now won a place at Tsukuba University in Japan. He was awarded an International Scholarship and is doing a four year BA(HONS) in International Social Sciences. The University is renowned for sports and has 63 Olympic medals to its name. Felix is joining their superb men’s gymnastics team, which is a fantastic opportunity!
He says, “Gymnastics is all about getting back up when things go wrong. You have to work for a long time to improve skills, which can sometimes be frustrating. But don’t think you’re a failure if your first attempt is not a success!”
