Remote Learning

Dear Parent/Guardian 

At TPS we utilise multiple platforms to help support our students learning. 

We use ClassCharts to help students keep track of their homework, as well as providing a way for staff to communicate with students and parents.  As a result, it is incredibly important that students and parents are registered and able to access the ClassCharts platform.  If you need any support with getting either yourself or your child onto ClassCharts then please don’t hesitate to ask your child’s tutor for a log in code. 

We also utilise Showbie as our main learning platform.  This enables students to access their lesson resources and communicate with their teachers. Resources are posted directly into the individual classes. Showbie enables digital feedback via written comments or voice notes, it also enables the use of video to back up lesson content.  Teachers will always provide specific instructions with how to use the resources. 

Important: If work is posted as an assignment in Showbie, this does not necessarily mean it is homework.  Always check ClassCharts for assigned work. 

Our online assessment platforms (eg Sparx, Seneca) are always available for use, and can be used to supplement any work provided if the need arises. 

If you child is struggling to find any lesson resources, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the class teacher either directly by email. Any technical issues can also be directed to the IT Support team ( itsupport@petersfieldschool.com ).
