Trips & Visits

Monday 29 June – Friday 3 July 2026

This year we are encapsulating our ethos of Enjoy, Respect, Achieve (ERA) with a week of fantastic enrichment opportunities for our students, in and outside of school, during ERA Week.

A variety of trips and events will be available to students, as part of the current curriculum or usual trip experiences we offer. Activities taking place in school focus on helping to create ‘Team TPS Game Changers’ and are either timetabled for the whole school or year specific participation, such as the Dance-a-thon for Year 7 through to Work Experience for Year 10. Accompanying all these great on-site events, several external school enrichment opportunities have been organised, ranging from GCSE day trips through to optional residential trips.

How do I sign my child up?
Open the ERA Brochure linked below for more information on the experiences available and pay any required deposit via Parent Pay by Monday 23 February to secure a place.

The Brochure is being continually updated so we recommend you bookmark the link for ease of referral. Some trips may be added over the course of the year and prices can change over time. Any trips that have reach capacity will apply a waitlist, so please contact the Trip Leader should you like your child to be added.

Additional Trips & Visits

We offer many other experiences to students throughout the school year which are communicated separately with as much notice as possible. An example timetable of opportunities for 2025/26 and 2026/27 can be found below:

TPS always felt like a safe place to express myself and my hobbies without a fear of being told I wasn’t cool for playing with toys. Many teachers encouraged me to utilise LEGO in my work in Art, DT, even Maths and Geography!

I started dancing at 3 and more seriously from the age of 12. I wanted to attend TPS because of their performing arts specialism, and they have given me so many opportunities to perform in dance and drama productions such as “Fame” at the New Theatre Royal Portsmouth and Rock Challenge at the Guildhall.
