Last week, the Year 10 MEP (Mandarin Excellence Programme) students attended three days of Intensive Chinese Study that featured a tourism campaign at The Petersfield School.

Throughout the three days, students were immersed in rich Mandarin content that featured lots of useful and advanced GCSE vocabulary and grammar structures, as well as transferable knowledge and skills in designing posters, slogans, persuasive speeches, itinerary and promotion videos in the target language.
The approach of blended learning not only enabled students to access and work on online courses independently, but also provided great opportunities for working collaboratively to explore various softwares, and to produce fantastic works that feature lots of creativity and thoughtful planning.
The posters inside the pictures showcase the remarkable accomplishments of our Year 10 MEP students as well as their commitment to achieving greatness in learning and applying their linguistic and cultural knowledge.
