TPS Admin Assistant, Helen Gilliatt, a seasoned marathon runner, entered the Brighton Marathon last weekend and achieved a Good For Age time.
Helen was thrilled to receive notification that she has been entered into the inaugural Majors Age Group Marathon World Championships, which is happening as part of the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon.
The Championships will feature the world’s best runners over the age of 40 who have qualified through performances in 175 events across six continents as part of the Age Group World Rankings.
Helen will receive a specially designed medal alongside other finishers in the Championships, as well as the London Marathon finisher’s medal, and the winner in each age group will be crowned World Champion!
Helen said, “I was so thrilled to receive the notification. In true TPS spirit, I will try my very best to place as high as I can and aim for a PB!”
