Over the weekend, two students competed in a Taekwondo competition. Year 8 Aimie H achieved 3rd Place Blue Belt Individual Sparring and 3rd Place Blue/Red Belt Tag Team Sparring.
Year 9 Lucy H won 1st Place Yellow/Green Belt Tag Team Sparring.
Both are members of a very strong Girls team in the South Downs Taekwondo Club, and they did the school and the club very proud this weekend.
Instructor, Colin Sayer, said, “They competed hard and are both potential rising stars within the Taekwondo Competition circuit.”
