Since February, groups of Year 7 students across the Bohunt Education Trust have been avidly reading the 5 books on the first BET Book Award shortlist. Meeting regularly at their own schools to compare notes, they judged the books on the BET values of Enjoy – Respect – Achieve.
Yesterday, students from Bohunt Liphook and Costello School met at TPS to discuss and then vote for their favourite book. While the votes were being counted, the discussion teams took part in a 6-round book quiz, the prize being a book for each of the winning team.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the BET Book Award 2022, winning by a landslide, was “My Cousin is a Time Traveller” by David Solomons. Well done to all the participating students.
