Yesterday we were pleased to welcome 22 Chinese students to our school for their UK Exchange Programme. They will attend TPS for just over a week to learn about British education.
The students had a welcome and introductory session with Mr Marande, followed by a school policy introduction and a quiz about fundamental British knowledge with Mr Zhang. They were taken on a school tour by our TPS peer mentors before joining their lessons. Finally they attended an after-school session with our Year 8 MEP students to learn from each other about cities in the UK and China.
Mr Zhang said, “Our students showcased a fantastic level of hospitality, enthusiasm and social skills, which helped our Chinese visitors adjust and transition into the system smoothly.”
