Last night, St Peter’s Church was packed for our annual Carol Service where all our bands and musical ensembles, student, staff and community choirs, and student readers of the Nine Lessons celebrated the festive season.
Parents, Governors and Mayor JC Crissey were in the congregation as students led a candelit procession, singing “Once In Royal David’s City” to open the service. The evening concluded with an energetic rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” with everyone singing the different verses.
There were mince pies and drinks to finish, and a retiring collection was for the Music department and St Peter’s Church.
