Congratulations to our Year 8 Cricket Team who have reached the final of the County Plate.
After an impressive bowling display, TPS bowled out Mountbatten for 89. We then took to the field to chase down the runs and after 4 overs we found ourselves 4 for 5.
A resilient middle order batting performance from James held the innings together to give TPS hope of chasing down the score. We were 9 down with 2 overs left requiring 6 runs to win, and an impressive hit from number 11 Rowan saw the ball sail over the bowler’s head for 6 to win the game. We now wait to find out who our opponents will be in the final.
