On Saturday 29 June, 8 brave TPS students from Year 9 and 10 are fund raising for the FitzRoy charity by abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower! Fitzroy supports people with learning disabilities to do the things that make a real difference to their everyday lives.
Year 10s Lulu M, Lolah M-S, Miya A, Sophie M, Lilly B, Lexi F-P and Remi B, and Year 9 Adriannah P hoped to raise £150 each. They have already raised a phenomenal amount between them, with some far exceeding their original target!
If you are able to donate, please visit their Just Giving pages and help them make a difference. If you could also share their pages, we would be very grateful.
Health & Social Care teacher, Amanda Marshall, said, “I feel so proud of each and every one of them – it takes courage to do this and it also shows the girls’ dedication to their subject. They are buzzing to abseil and are very happy to be raising money for such a good cause.”
