This week, students from the Year 7 and 8 Mandarin Excellence Programme took part in an enrichment day, along with students from other Trust schools, at Bohunt Liphook.
The day was filled with workshops that featured a variety of Chinese cultural activities including Kung Fu, calligraphy, singing pop songs and making Chinese knots.
Head of Mandarin, Taylor Zhang, said, “Our students showcased a great level of enthusiasm, and had lots of fun experimenting with different activities. In addition, they had the opportunity to work collaboratively and enhance their language skills. It was great to see our students being energetic and enjoying the moments with each other outside the classroom setting! As their subject teacher, I was really impressed to see their confidence in presenting themselves as a team in various sessions.”
