On Saturday, our Mandarin Excellence Programme (MEP) students took part in their final Saturday School of the academic year.
The day was focused on the Chinese Dragon Boat festival and students enjoyed a range of activities including learning about the Dragon Boat Festivals in different countries, a Dragon-Boat making competition and language games focused on traditional food for the festival.
The students made the most of the morning by developing their understanding of the festival, learning how to discuss the festival in Chinese and getting creative with their Dragon Boat competition entries .
Our Year 9 students were also invited to enjoy a Chinese meal in the Tai Tong restaurant in Petersfield. This was the perfect end to a fantastic fun-filled morning!
