Mandarin students visit Chinatown

Last Thursday, our Year 8 and 9 Mandarin Excellence Programme (MEP) students took part in their first enrichment activity of the academic year.

Students travelled to London, where they explored Chinatown and the British Museum.  In Chinatown, they worked well in teams to complete their Treasure Hunt activity and were also brave enough to speak Mandarin with some of the locals.  From there, we walked to the British Museum where students were tasked with the British Museum Quest as they discovered some of the most valuable artefacts from China. Our students thoroughly enjoyed their visit!
