The Mayor of Petersfield, Phil Shaw, came to school on Friday to judge the Christmas Card Competition, entered by Year 9 Fine Art students.
He decided that Eva Morrill’s painting was the winner and Zara Maguire was runner up.
The Mayor was overwhelmed by the quality, ambition and variety of work on display by our Year 9 Fine Art students, and acknowledged the talent of our students at TPS.
The winning card will now be printed as the official Christmas card of the Petersfield Town Mayor.
Head of Art Gary Leeson said, “Without exception, our Year 9 students enthusiastically threw everything into this competition. The quality of entries was of an extremely high standard resulting in a fantastic Christmas card by a truly deserving winner.”
