Last week, former TPS student Alex Chun, MFL teacher Caroline Walters’ son Rohan and our very own Sean Ridley (Studio Manager) were officiating at St Mary’s, Southampton’s football ground, in a match between AFC Station and Lyndhurst from the Southampton Junior League.
Rohan and Sean are two of only six referees in Hampshire who have completed what’s known as the ‘Double Jump’ – achieving promotion up a refereeing level twice in the same season, and Sean has now been appointed as fourth official for the English Schools FA Cup Final at St Mary’s next week when Gloucestershire will be taking on Sussex.
