On Wednesday 29 September, 3 teams of swimmers took part in the 2021 Qualification Round for Hampshire for the National Swimming championships for Secondary schools at St Swithins. It is the first time TPS has entered the gala and the students certainly demonstrated their swimming ability.
The junior boys team made up of Ollie F, Charlie F, Oliver K and Finley W came third in their freestyle and individual medley relays. The intermediate boys made up of James P, Dan S, Zak B and George P came second in their freestyle and individual medley relays.
Finally, the senior girls team made up of Olivia H, Lucy S, Jess C and Lottie G were competing against older girls in Years 12 and 13, and finished 7th in their freestyle and 4th in the individual medley relay.
Well done to all the students who competed and we are already planning for next year’s event!
