Mr Marande was pleased to present Commendation Certificates to students from Years 7 to 9 who had shown creativity and commitment to the TPS Summer Reading Challenge.
In addition, 3 students – Scout M, Xanthe L (Year 7) and Charlotte W (Year 8) were awarded £10 Vue Cinema vouchers in recognition of particularly outstanding work, and Mani M (Year 7), Ruby H and Jenson H (Year 8), and Raffy M and Joe T (Year 9) won the participants’ draw to receive £5 Amazon vouchers.
Mr Marande congratulated the students, talked about the importance of literacy, and encouraged them to continue with their love of reading.
