Year 7 Delilah C has been volunteering for Operation Hope for Ukrainian families coming to Petersfield at The Petersfield Cleaning Company, where her mum works.
Every day after school, Delilah has been putting together the Welcome Packs to give to the Ukrainian families settling into our local area.
Delilah’s younger sister has befriended a little girl who joined her primary school and told her how she had received this wonderful welcome package, and Daisy was proud to say her sister helped put it together!
Delilah said, “I have prepared more than 50 packs so far, and will be going again after school today, but after my rounders match!”
